Finally scanned in the polaroids from my Birthday Dinner last month…incoming…
Today is my birthday, but I’ll be doing my major celebrating this Friday at A CLUB CALLED RHONDA at Los Globos w/ Julio Bashmore, of course. Hopefully anybody that’s around the LA area can come down and help me welcome in another year of life.
I had a really great birthday weekend; from which I’m still recovering.
Stephen and Alexis both came down from San Francisco and stayed with me in my new place which made it feel like one big ol gay house. I loved it and I miss them now that they are gone.
I had picked a “Bedtime Stories” theme for my birthday weekend and in that fashion I mainly wore silk the entire time. On Friday I had a small intimate party for some close friends and I at my house, then on Saturday was the bigger birthday party at Rhonda.
On Sunday a bunch of us met up for a very drunk brunch, then proceeded on to beer bust at the Faultline and then ended up at Norwood Young’s annual Christmas party at Youngwood Court (that house on 3rd st with all the statues of david in the front yard). It was definitely a memorable birthday and I loved every moment.
